AGCO Parts DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)

Farmers have been green long before green was cool. That is because as a farmer, your livelihood depends on environmental stewardship.

Unfortunately, you find yourself caught in the middle — between regulatory pressures to protect air quality and your need for technology solutions that don't compromise performance, in other words — don't compromise your ability to deliver food to the table.

AGCO Parts DEF is required to operate the AGCO Power with e3 Clean Air Technology (SCR). Visit www.agcocorp.com/e3 for further technical information regarding AGCO Parts DEF and the SCR technology.

The Fluid

AGCO Parts DEF is a non-hazardous, high-purity, colorless solution containing approximately 32.5% urea, balanced with deionized water. As noted the urea within AGCO Parts DEF is a high-purity form and specifically intended for industrial applications.  Agricultural grade urea is not suitable for SCR systems and will result in costly repairs. Therefore it is critical that only API Certified AGCO Parts DEF be utilized.

Based on its chemical makeup, AGCO Parts DEF is not classified as hazardous to health, nor is it flammable or explosive. However, AGCO Parts DEF is very susceptible to contamination and must be handled and stored properly to ensure optimal performance of the vehicle’s SCR system and to avoid costly maintenance and potential replacement of the SCR system.
